Yesterday I went for a walk after work. When I work from home it doesn’t really feel like work, it’s a problem to sit for hours and continue sitting when I stop working and start reading a book or scrolling through my timelines. I need to go outside and if I left the house, nothing can stop me from walking. I looked up in the dark grey sky and went to the park, where huge chestnut trees built natural roofing.
As I entered the park, it started to rain. I stood under the largest tree and stayed dry for a while, but that didn’t last long. There was no roof or dry place elsewhere so I ran to the supermarket where I initially wanted to go. I entered the supermarket soaked.
I was not far from home so I enjoyed the refreshing summer rain, threw my clothes into the dryer, and spent the rest of the day dry.
